Will be answering a few more comments, but the party's officially over. I got a new member to my flist, so it's all good. LOL. Got a very silly idea for a mini out of it all. Good again. Found another D/G fan who is also a rabid SW fan. Possible friending there as well. Just haven't done so yet.

Now, I have to clean up. And write some today.

Just popping in to say hi. I'm going to try to check up on all my friends on live journal since I haven't been here in a while. Excuse the typos, I had a hell of a fucked up night.

Oh yeah...I'm ok. I recently got a job. Or, a "real job" as my mother-in-law would and has called it. Grrr. But anyway, I work at a group home with mentaly disabled people, young and old. Saturday nights are dance nights. A couple of places host a dance for all of the disabled to get together and party. It's cute, and they do boogie down. But in this night I had one resident puke her guts out at the dance, one peed her pants, one left her wallet (or thought she had, it was actually in the van), I accidentally didn't give a pill I was supposed to, I had to call the nurse (and I'm sure they're just exaggerating but they describe her in such a way that makes me think she's got a pare of cracky-pants perminently tattooed onto her), I realized nearly last moment that I forgot to run the dishwasher after dinner, and a few other things happened that I can't quite remember now. Anyway, they ran me ragged...lol. I didn't even get to see my laptop. I had an hour and a half worth of charting to do. Normally I have an hour and a half or so to work on my laptop, though.

It was just a rough night...and only the second night that they've left me alone with the residents. I just got CPR/First Aid trained and I couldn't be alone until then. So it was kind of important for me to show I could do the damn job...lol. I showed them...lol.

Anyway, that's all that was going on. :) Thanks for caring...:)

Wow. You're tougher than I am. Don't get discouraged about it. You can do it. You just had a hectic night... like you said. *snorts* And thanks for caring? Of course I do. We're friends, aren't we? Will all the stuff that's been going down, it's nice to hear you're maintaining, you know? Stay sane.

Staying sane is actually in the top five of things to do...but interestingly enough, not #1...lol. Maybe I'm already not sane...lol.
