pretty good day

Ooooo, thank you to everyone who's wished me a happy birthday so far in their LJ. I have to go and personally comment now, but thank you.
dream_mancer, thank you for the e-card. It was waiting for me when I got home from work late last night, and provided much-needed happy feelings.
Man, last night sucked at work. But I think I just might have proved how hardcore I am. I can still hang, despite being "old". I broke down four prints. I filed two brains. I build the trailer packs for two movies. I moved prints. We're a ten screen, and eight of our ten were moving to different projectors. And somewhere in there I managed to thread and start too. I am the goddess of the projection booth.
I don't know what else I am going to do today. My Grandmother (Mamaw, not Grammy) and I had homemade pancakes today with homemade syrup. She made them, naturally. I can cook, but I'm not THAT good. LOL. I should probably have salad and water for lunch considering, but...
I may write today. Somehow I didn't get to write anything really this week. I want to get another part of "The Distance to You" out and finish "Jealous Face".
I recorded Smallville and Night Stalker last night. I find it amazing that I can hardly ever watch Smallville, and still kinda know what's going on when I tune in.
Did anyone else notice that the black guy playing what would be Non in the supervillain type capacity (using IMDb for Superman II to gather this info) but did anyone notice he was played by Leonard Roberts, the same guy who played Forrest on Buffy? But I think we know the whole reason I'm tuning in is because of JM... who I suspect is Zod. OMG, I loved Zod in Superman II. It's the badguy thing... and having the badguy be JM? Recipe for squee here. James Marsters rocks my socks. Seeing him on TV again last night was of the good. Lex is still hot. I don't know if I'll be able to handle watching him be on screen with a JM Zod ever. Now... there's some slash I might could get into. LOL.
As for Night Stalker, I don't know if I liked it or not yet. It seemed sort of generic to me, but I do love Stuart Townsend. I always have, so we'll see. Jury's still out on that one.

Date: 2005-09-30 01:06 pm (UTC)As for "Forrest", I have this unique ability to recognize even the most obscure of actors and know some of their previous films or TV shows. It just sticks with me for some reason.
Yes... still HOT. Always. Forever.
