Battlestar... I will fully admit that I do not like Anders with Starbuck. It's so always about Kara and Lee forever. But I am beginning to love Anders. Seriously. He's so much fun! Especially when he's been drinking and takes to falling off the tops of vipers. That was SO FUNNY. Him giggling like a little girl was HILARIOUS. LOVED IT. I like him and Lee as EMO buddies. It's too fun.

Blood Ties... It's a little cheesy, but you know what? I like it. I have missed vampires on my TV. Granted, Henry's no Spike, but... I like him. I also like that Vicky (the female lead) looks older than Henry and pointed this out, that if they started hanging out, SHE would be looked at like she was robbing the cradle. He's pretty. I'd rob that cradle. LOL.

When Henry's vamped, he riminds me of Hybrid!Michael from Underworld. Just needs to be spray painted blue. So pretty, though!

I agree that BloodTies is cheesy, but its fun and I too have missed vamps on the small screen. Henry is made of teh pretty, I like that they acknowledged that Vicky looks older than him. I'm looking forward to the next episode.

Obviously I've been hanging around with slash writers too much recently. The last scene with Anders and Apollo just screamed 'Somewhere, a thousand Anders/Apollo shippers just wet themselves', especially with the look after Lee that Anders gave.

My wife and I were all "Ehhhh..." about Blood Ties. The novels were good, but the adaptation was awkward at times; I'll really have to see how they do with an original-story-episode.

And Mike Celluci just was not what I was expecting at *all.* A cop named Mike Celluci should be a bigger, tougher-looking guy; they actor they got is more like what I originally thought Henry should look like. (Actually, when I first read the novels, Kenneth Brannagh was the Henry in my head.)
