Ok, let's take a moment to think about how big of a Potter fan I am. Let's remember I consider JK Rowling to be one of my favorite writers. Do you REALLY think I don't know the next Harry Potter book is set for July 16th? Stop mailing me announcing it like I've been living under a rock! I'm aware! Has everybody taken leave of their senses? Been taking their stupid dumbass pills today?

Well, not everybody, but eleven people sure did think I missed the memo. ELEVEN. As in... more than ten. Hell, more than two. For crying out loud.... I WRITE HARRY POTTER FANFICTION!! Logically, that would mean I tend to pay attention to additions to the HP 'verse... like, oh I dunno, a new book. Hell, 21 of my LJ icons are HP related. Two of my four favorite t shirts are HP tees.

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGG!!! I'm going to sleep. Now. Hopefully, I'll be less of a bitch in the morning.

I don't mean to bitch... well, no, yeah, I do. I just can't stand stupidity. It's just under impatience on my list of pet peeves, and I think we all know how I feel about impatience. Get educated, people. It's the only way to truly arm yourself for the world. I love to learn new things... even if it's only something as inane as you like chocolate milk instead of regular on your Captain Crunch cereal. I know some people probably thought they were just being thoughtful.... but use your brain. To quote Jimmy (Tom Hanks) in A League of Their Own... "It's that lump two feet above your ass!". I'm going to know about the release date for the next HP book. It's a book by an author I adore.

Really going to sleep now. Snape must be awfully cold without his cranky pants on tonight.

See, the first few didn't bother me, but it was like everyone decided to send it on the same day, so every other email just about that I opened had that announcement inside. It got very annoying very fast.
