eta: Think you know my scribblings? Then try this out for fun... http://spankerella.friendtest.com (thanks, [livejournal.com profile] goddessvicky!)

Let's see what you know. These are some of my favorite quotes. Match them with the lady who said it. The answer choices are at the bottom.

1) "I could not at any age be content to take my place in a corner by the fireside and simply look on."

2) "This is not a novel to be tossed aside lightly. It should be thrown with great force."

3) "The problem with people who have no vices is that generally you can be pretty sure they're going to have some pretty annoying virtues."

4) "Any girl can be glamorous. All you have to do is stand still and look stupid."

5) "All I ever wanted to be was myself."

6) "Well-behaved women rarely make history."

7) "Although the world is full of suffering, it is full also of the overcoming of it."

8) "Don't compromise yourself. You are all you've got."

9) "The best way to behave is to misbehave."

10) "I know I've been a perfect bitch. But I couldn't help myself."

You have one of them right, but I ain't saying which one until later.

[identity profile] kristinholt.livejournal.com 2005-01-30 11:07 pm (UTC)(link)
;-) Cool enough. And I didn't even cheat. Go me.

[identity profile] kristinholt.livejournal.com 2005-01-30 11:08 pm (UTC)(link)
And like a dope, I didn't double check myself. 1 is not A.

*headdesk*

[identity profile] spankerella.livejournal.com 2005-01-31 02:20 pm (UTC)(link)
But 2 is D. Answers have been posted.

I think 1 is E.
But I could be crazy.

[identity profile] spankerella.livejournal.com 2005-01-31 02:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Not crazy. It is. Answers have been posted.

[livejournal.com profile] evilgreenmonkey, I concur.

I'll go for 10 = F (sounds like her) and 4 = H.

[identity profile] spankerella.livejournal.com 2005-01-31 02:21 pm (UTC)(link)
No on 10, but 4 is H. Answers have been posted.

At least I think it is...I love that quote:)

[identity profile] spankerella.livejournal.com 2005-01-31 02:21 pm (UTC)(link)

[identity profile] amichandrn.livejournal.com 2005-01-31 04:57 am (UTC)(link)

Oh, yeah, when you have a chance, I was wondering if you could give me a list of Jimmy Eat World songs you like. I've DLed Sweetness and Praise Chorus and loved them, so I trust your taste. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks! And if you don't wanna, it's ok.

[identity profile] spankerella.livejournal.com 2005-01-31 11:01 am (UTC)(link)
ANYTHING off of the Bleed American CD rocks. But my fave is "Hear You Me". But with what you have, you need "Bleed American", "The Middle", "My Sundown", and "The Authority Song" to round it out. They have some new stuff out, and I've only heard one song, but I liked it. Just can't recall the name of it just now. I wanna say it's called "The World That You Love". Could be wrong though.

It is. All answers have been posted.

I know that 6 = G - I have it on my fridge.

These are guesses, but I'm pretty sure I've got them right:

5 = C
7 = J
9 = F
10 = B

[identity profile] spankerella.livejournal.com 2005-01-31 02:23 pm (UTC)(link)
All correct. Other answers have now been posted as well.

Okay, so I took the test and got 90%. Now I'm wondering which one I missed! I'm thinking it was the Fawkes RPG one because RL got in the way of me reading along a long time ago.

Do we get to see the answers?
