"tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies..."

Playing yet again.

No guessing for [livejournal.com profile] corusca or [livejournal.com profile] archerstar... as you each have an uber mini coming. Please submit your requests for your uber mini as a reply to one of these "lie" posts. I need a character or pairing and a situation. If you have already submitted one, ignore this.

The drill is the same. Pick the lie. One comment, one guess, please. First correct guesser gets an uber mini.

version: scary movies
* Nightmare on Elm Street does not scare me.
* The original Salem's Lot does not scare me.
* Halloween does not scare me.
* Hitch's Psycho does not scare me.
* The Ring does not scare me.

eta: And [livejournal.com profile] jennalei guesses that Salem's Lot scares me. Well, not the lot specifically, but the main vamp. The blue-gray skin. The glow-y eyes. The fangs. The non-speak-y. *shiver* Ironically, it's one of the horror films I have seen the most.

Halloween? :p

[identity profile] spankerella.livejournal.com 2005-05-02 08:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Nope. Michael Meyers doesn't frighten me.

Okay, I suck-suckity suck but I'm going to try again anyway: Nightmare on Elm Street. It's sort of funny now I find. Scared me when I was 8 though. Unless it still scares you because you remember how you felt when you first saw it...

I'm putting too much thought into this, aren't I?

[identity profile] spankerella.livejournal.com 2005-05-02 08:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Nope. Loved it as a kid. Loved Freddy. LOL. But you're sorta on the right track... sorta.

Salem's Lot. I know it scared the bejeesus out of me way back when. Haven't watched it since.

Yes. Every time I see the main vamp in that, the hair on the back of my neck prickles. Anytime I wanna freak myself out, I pop that video cassette in the old VCR. Absoluetly terrifies me for some odd reason.

Hitch's Psycho scares me.

Because I know it scared the crap out of me...

[identity profile] spankerella.livejournal.com 2005-05-02 10:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Too much style to Psycho for it to frighten me. Even at a young age, I was fascinated by the shots and the compostion and the editing. Before the VCR, when it would be on TV, I'd make sure I caught the shower scene. That was like visual poetry to me. And I know everyone talks about the shower scene in Psycho, but that's because it's still brilliant after all these years.

I'm so excited, I won an uber mini! ^_^

I'm thinking a Blaise/Luna...and pretty much any situation :) Thank you! You rock Echo!

Noted. B/L seems to be the order of the day so far. LOL. Not that I mind.

My guess is The Ring.

Last Hope

[identity profile] spankerella.livejournal.com 2005-05-02 10:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Nope. I was too busy trying to figure out what the catch was gonna be to be frightened of The Ring. It was creepy, yes, but I don't put my hands over my face and watch between my fingers or anything.

hmmmmmmmm. how about something inspired by this icon? if not, anything with Spike will do. Perhaps something where he has to do something he's not used to, like cooking a meal or such?

I'm not picky.
