This is why you should see The Covenant...

HOLY PELVIC LINES AND ABS, BATMAN!
Pogue's on the left, Caleb's on the right.

...and here's to you, Mrs. Robinson
left to right... Reid, Tyler, Pogue, Caleb

Thank you, [livejournal.com profile] tthjinni!

Stick that in your pants and sit on it, people. Ow!

I am editing part 2 of Bros and Sis. I'll post it before I go to bed.

You know, your Man Candy is in the way of my olgling the girls in the background...

:-D

It's possible that it might also be in the way of my ogling the girls in the background.

There are better scenes in this film that deal in candy for the dudes. Cutie and total tattoed blonde chick Sarah takes a nice shower. She runs around in a towel for quite a long bit too. She and roomie Kate like to sleep in lingerie-type stuff.

*whimpers* Must see movie...

Ya know, I seem to recall a few people looking at me funny when I said Steven Strait was gorgeous back when Sky High was in theaters. Seriously, can anyone deny it now? Hubba hubba, baby!

[identity profile] spankerella.livejournal.com 2006-09-12 04:53 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, see film. Go. Yes.

Not me. I saw Sky High and was all "Ok, flist, who was it that said Warren Peace was a little hottie? Because he so is."

It helps in this that his friends are just as nice to ogle and one of them has to be Draco's American cousin.

It's been ages since a movie has come out that has got me into a 'must see now!' state and wouldn't you know it, the UK release date isn't until Dec 8th!

[identity profile] madannekidd.livejournal.com 2006-09-12 11:31 am (UTC)(link)
December? Ah hell. I hate the lateness with which movies come out, here. Must excercise patience to see the eye candy.

*giggles* Glad that the screencaps went to good use. :)

[identity profile] spankerella.livejournal.com 2006-09-13 02:41 am (UTC)(link)
Of course.

[identity profile] tthjinni.livejournal.com 2006-09-12 11:23 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, and if I can just figure out how to make a moving icon, there will be a moving one of them walking out to the pool. Just have to figure it out.

If you have a video clip of said motion, you can use just about any gif animator to make it work.

You may have to crop the video file first, though.

*drools*
I may have to wait for the DVD though. I seem to have a bit of a shortage on girly-type friends here...

[identity profile] spankerella.livejournal.com 2006-09-13 02:42 am (UTC)(link)
Am I the only person who feels no sort of qualms in going to watch something by myself? I go to the movies alone all the time.

[identity profile] dotty8608.livejournal.com 2006-09-13 03:39 pm (UTC)(link)
I've never really thought about it. I've always just kind of been like, movie=group activity. I don't know why... Damn social conditioning. ;)

[identity profile] untdrew.livejournal.com 2006-09-12 11:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, god knows you shouldn't see it for the story. That script was just rubbish!

But seriously, is that all it takes to impress girls these days in a movie theater?

[identity profile] spankerella.livejournal.com 2006-09-13 02:40 am (UTC)(link)
Have you already seen it? Oh man, I could have told you that you'd hate the sh*t out of this one.

Some girls... yes. That was all it took for me not to feel cheated. I went in there with low expectations and was entertained. It didn't expect it to be more than it was. I have not been impressed in the movie theatre in a VERY long time. It wasn't like Boondock Saints or Quills or Saved... where I was a little different in the head for having watched the film, where I get this itch to... do something or create something, you know? Bbut I didn't hate it either. I'd watch it again.

Then again, I dig on stories that tie in witch trials in some way, so there you go too.

[identity profile] untdrew.livejournal.com 2006-09-13 05:53 am (UTC)(link)
He he... Yeah, I decided to catch a matinee this afternoon and was split between this and Hollywoodland, and chose this because I didn't want to have to think too much. It wasn't just HORRIBLE, but it wasn't good either. The story jumped all over the place with no real direction. I didn't mind the special effects. It seems like they spent a decent amount on it. The acting was mostly poor too, but I can't really blame them when most of the lines were something like "what are you doing Reid?!?!" or "the powers will control you, you know that!!"

Shoot me.

Anyway, it was still entertaining enough for $4 bucks. The eye candy for the men wasn't half bad either. I don't know who the lead lady was but she was cute enough to keep me watching.

[identity profile] lunykimberly.livejournal.com 2006-09-13 03:37 pm (UTC)(link)
It depends on the movie. My favorite types that I actually get impressed over have an awesome plot, seamless special effects, and (at least) decent eye candy...however it's been some time since I saw one of those at the theater. I prefer a movie with plot but if I've got fair warning for a certain movie, I'll settle for just the effects or just eye candy (it just might take me longer to get around to go seeing the movie).

I wouldn't go that far, but I did like it.

Mmmm, those are very compelling reasons.
