Chet's nuts roasting on an open fire...
26. It's officially one month till Christmas! Post your favorite holiday song.
I have a surprising lot of holiday songs that I love.
"The Christmas Song" by Nat King Cole is probably my favorite. I know. Not what you'd expect from the punk rock chick, right? I can just listent to this shit and get in a holiday mood. Seriously.
"Christmas Canon Rock" by Trans Siberian Orchestra. Again, probably surprising, though less because of the guitar. I love TSO, though. I even saw them live a few years ago. AWESOME show.
"All I Want for Christmas is You" by Mariah Carey. It's super-fun. But also because of how they used it in "Love Actually".
"Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas" by Judy Garland. This one makes me a little sad, though. It was my mom's favorite Christmas song, and Christmas was her favorite holiday. She always made it a big production. This was one song we always made sure we listened to when we decorated the tree together. I still make sure it plays when I decorate my own little tree... that my mother would absolutely hate because it's hot pink and so not traditional. LOL.
"Last Christmas" by Glee Cast. Back when Glee was actually good. I love this version. Now it makes me a little sad because of Cory Monteith.
Weezer did a Christmas album once and I love everything on that, so I won't go youtube diving. Just check it out in iTunes.

I also love the Nutcracker, but I mentioned the ballerina part of me, yeah? There is not a piece of music in that ballet that I have not danced to at one point or another in my ballet career, but I am particularly fond of the "Waltz of the Snowflakes" since I was actually in a production of the Nutcracker when I was 8 years old where I played a snowflake.
And of course I can't mention ballet without posting a video. This is the Royal Ballet doing the "Waltz of the Snowflakes".

It's been awhile since Glee was good. I gave up halfway through... last season?
