Just curious... can anyone tell me how something can be FANDOM wank, if it's my original work? Or am I seriously misunderstanding what the word fandom implies? "In Shadowside" is my original novel. It's not some bit of fanfiction. I created that world from scratch. Wouldn't you be upset if you had created something and someone else was listed as doing so? Even if it was only in an attempt to do (steal) something else?
Damn, if I bother people that much, no one's making them read here. Sh*t. It's not like I'm propping eyelids open with toothpicks and strapping people to their computer chairs so I can force the words of my livejournal into their brains. You seriously DO NOT have to read my livejournal if you don't wanna. For real. I can tell ya for damn sure I don't go reading at the LJs of folks who tick me off. If I annoy you so bad, defriend me. Don't click on the link. Resist the urge to fall victim to my wanking! I only have friended the LJs I read. That's why I rarely lock posts. I'm not going to be upset if you remove me from your flist because you think I'm a whining bitch. Perhaps at times I am. I have never claimed perfection. I can deal with it. The question is... if YOU can't deal with it, why do you try?
eta: CHALLENGE! Goddess, I have offically be accused of the wank. This tremendous occasion calls for an icon. The person who provides me with the 'wank' icon I like best gets a fic consisting of at least 5000 words with the pairing or lead character of their choice... provided it's something I *CAN* write. Anyhow... if you're the winner, we'll hash it out over emails. Be creative. Be ironic. And "Resist the urge to fall victim to my wanking!" is an excellent quote if you need a starting point.
