When choosing between two evils...

These are my past, present, and the home of my future "to do" lists for fic.

I still owe a fic for the amazon review thing. And two for the movie guesses. And one mini for the picnic game.

I need to finish "Jealous Face" and "The Distance to You". Don't know if I feel like writing a full part of something today. Might do a few minis.

You know what I like about cooler weather? Besides my getting to wear my fabulously funky winter wardrobe... tomato soup. Man, I love me some tomato soup. Had it with toasted cheese sandwich today. Mmmm-mmmm.

eta: We have ourselves some chickens. The folks that owned the chickens moved... and left their chickens. My mom can't bear it when animals have nowhere to go, so we have chickens. They've taken roost in one of our trees. Mom said she's gonna go to the feed store and buy some chicken scratch for them, so we've got ourselves two cute chickens. I've been calling them Harry and River.

You know, I was going to work on ES today. I have about half of the next part written actually, but I deliberately did not because of a few of the so-called reviews I got on it. Oh, I'll finish it. Likely tomorrow or Wednesday. It'll even be posted sometime before the weekend, but I felt like being bitchy today. I still don't like being told to hurry up and update when I only posted a part this past weekend. I also don't like being called an evil bitch for leaving it in a cliffhanger-y situation. I like cliffies, folks. As a writer, I am allowed to like such things. As a writer, I am allowed to leave it hanging if I wanna. Please don't get testy with me about it... because then I reserve the right to be a crabby bitch about it right back at you and not work on things... even though I could have. Oh well, writing this part to "The Distance to You" was just as satisfying.

And for the record... I am not evil. I'm merely wicked. There's a difference.

My theatre is working out a deal where the Katrina survivors being housed in our city can come and watch free movies to provide them with some sort of escape for a while. I do hope our corporate office agrees to it... but they're so damn cheap. Oh well. If they say no, that's just another reason for me to hate that company, the cheap bastards. I can't wait until I find another job. I'm actually almost sick with wanting to work anywhere except where I currently work. They treat their employees like dirt. I just got a raise though. Get this... it was a WHOLE quarter.

Well, we're going on day three of the headache that would not die. It's not quite as bad today. I'm not worried. I think it's sinus-related.. as I have been a little sneeze-y as well. It doesn't keep me from doing stuff, but the projectors were particularly annoying this weekend, so I tried to stay away. I've slept more.

to-do type stuff: I plan on finishing the Duets this week. There are only 3 left. I should be able to. I have also started the next part of Eternal Sunshine for bitelitten. I only have about 500 words on it so far, so let's not hold our breath that it'll be out this week. Just know it is being worked on. There's also plans to work on the next part of Trick and the next part Unique. I still haven't finished my reread of SC to see if I've gotten everything out that needs to be out so far before putting out another part of that. I'm also in the home stretch on Chasing Amy. I'd like to actually finish something soon. There's only 2 parts of CA left. Also, I have a B/L mini that I've been cooking up as a thank you.
