Oh yeah...I'm ok. I recently got a job. Or, a "real job" as my mother-in-law would and has called it. Grrr. But anyway, I work at a group home with mentaly disabled people, young and old. Saturday nights are dance nights. A couple of places host a dance for all of the disabled to get together and party. It's cute, and they do boogie down. But in this night I had one resident puke her guts out at the dance, one peed her pants, one left her wallet (or thought she had, it was actually in the van), I accidentally didn't give a pill I was supposed to, I had to call the nurse (and I'm sure they're just exaggerating but they describe her in such a way that makes me think she's got a pare of cracky-pants perminently tattooed onto her), I realized nearly last moment that I forgot to run the dishwasher after dinner, and a few other things happened that I can't quite remember now. Anyway, they ran me ragged...lol. I didn't even get to see my laptop. I had an hour and a half worth of charting to do. Normally I have an hour and a half or so to work on my laptop, though.
It was just a rough night...and only the second night that they've left me alone with the residents. I just got CPR/First Aid trained and I couldn't be alone until then. So it was kind of important for me to show I could do the damn job...lol. I showed them...lol.
Anyway, that's all that was going on. :) Thanks for caring...:)
