just fiction thanks

Perhaps I am being anal, or it could be the fact that I just got home from a HELLISH day at work, but I really don't like when people call my original work fanfic. It's not. Fanfic is the shortened form of fanfiction, and fanfiction by nature is not totally original. My fiction is all me. I created all of it. There's nothing "fanfic" about it. Yes, it's fairly obvious what a lot of my influences are and what pop culture affects me, but that's fairly obvious with many writers.
