Well, I'm certainly glad the weather decided to go all "ACT I: Wizard of Oz" up in this bitch tonight. I hate tornados. They piss me off. Especially when I had writing plans but instead have to sit on a dirty lawn chair in a daddy long legs infested storm cellar. And my mood is certainly not helped by the fact that I currently am fighting getting a respiratory infection. And I just love when the storm sirens go off. Especially when I'm fever-y and achy. Because I live right near one, so it's extra loud.
Yes, tornados piss me off. They don't scare me much. Not since I was trapped under an overpass in the one that hit near the Ballpark at Arlington a few years back. If I can drive, yes I got out from under the overpass and drove, in that, I can do anything. It scared me so bad that regular bad weather barely makes me bat an eyelash. It more ticks me off because I so could be doing other stuff when they usually hit.
But they did say on the weather channel that a tornado had actually touched down in southern Arlington... which is so not far from me. Next town over.
Hey D/FW Texans, is everybody ok? It hailed where I was. Did it hail where you guys were?
ETA: For whomever asked me about my lovely Draco F*CK! icon last time I used it, and I can't remember what post that was, but it's by
