to the polls!
Nov. 2nd, 2004 01:16 pmI am going to vote. Now. Well, as soon as I brush my hair and put some pants on. When I get back, there is proof reading and more posting. Yes, I said more posting. I have to work tonight, but I will be posting the next leg of the NaNo novel before then. Hopefully.
current word count: 5321 (doing good, I think)
eta: Already back. Can we get a 'hell yes' for no lines at the polls? Met a very nice boy there. Scared all the little old ladies running the poll place with my giggling... because for about two solid seconds I considered writing in Giant Douche in the presidental election section. Then there was another section where I didn't know anything about either candidate. I think it was for some sort of judge. I can't recall, but I voted for who I voted for there because his last name was Weiner. Yes, I voted for someone because I found his last name funny. Sad. I know. And then I got to giggling about that too. So the VERY cute black guy with the set of lips that puts Gunn's to shame in the black hoodie next to me asked me why I was laughing after we had our ballots scanned and were walking out. Seems he nearly wrote in Giant Douche too. Long live South Park fans. Especially ones that walk a girl to her car. *wink* He was hella cute, but I think I have about a decade on him, and that's out of my comfort zone. Even though I ADORE a guy who looks like a punk or a thug but is an absolute gentleman.
