Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown
Nov. 21st, 2004 02:08 amTonight = better than expected. My Charlie Brown Thanksgiving went as expected... just with FAR less bodies in the living room than expected. I had a good time. But I am still upset about certain aspects of the evening. Faithful L. She'll still like us no matter how many times we bail on her. It just hurts my feelings. I love my friends. My friends are my family, but sometimes I don't feel like they care about me as much as I do them. Or some of them anyhow. But there's one friend of mine that I'm always shocked by how much fire she'd be willing to walk through for me. If I were a lesbian, furthermore if SHE were a lesbian, I'd ask her to marry me. Except of course for the fact that sometimes I want to shake her really hard for being annoying, but I get on her nerves too, so it works out.
If you haven't watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail in a while, watch it. Especially if it's with other who haven't seen it in a while. I was laughing at people laughing tonight. We'd know what was coming up, get to giggling, the get to cackling about other people giggling. That was nice. I further recommend reruns of "Whose Line Is It Anyway" be it the Americanized version or the original Brit fare. Though I prefer the American version because of Wayne Brady. There was also a lot of laughing while watching that and decideding whether to watch Goonies or Neverending Story next. We watched Goonies, by the by.
Also, I just have to say... what is with the flood of people mailing me with STUPID questions about "A Drop in the Ocean"? I've gotten like 5 or 6 in the last few days. Seriously... what's up with that? And a lot of them are just because they haven't read the whole thing. Good grief! Finish reading before you start in. Especially with dumb stuff. Just finish reading in general. I am not here to provide people with "Cliff's Notes" to FINISHED fanfic. That's just ridiculous.
I was going to write a bit before turning in, but I'm just going to sleep instead. I'll work on some more of Rough Spirits tomorrow. G'night. And thanks to those of you offering hugs. JL, I just might make use of that number you dropped me yet.
