When/If you go to a movie theatre on Christmas Day, DO NOT bitch...
A) if it is crowded.
B) you get there ten minutes after the movie has started and it is sold out.
C) you have to wait in line at either the box or concession stand.
D) you have to sit up front for a movie that opened that day... because your ass can't be bothered to show up at least 20 minutes before the movie starts.
Christmas Day is the second busiest day of the year at a theatre, the first being the day after Thanksgiving. Most of the employees don't want to be there... despite the time and a half. It doesn't help if you are an ass to them just because your whole family decided they wanted to use some of those movie gift certificates they just got. Take your head out of your ass and have a little holiday cheer. Not everybody has off on Christmas. It would behoove you to have manners at the theatre. I've spit in popcorn before. Despite the person being almost right in front of you... it CAN be done. Being nice to someone who is having to work on Christmas will only ensure they'll be nicer to you. On that note, the people at Jack-in-the-Box last night were very cheery when I went to go get my late dinner on the way home from work last night. I commend them. They were so nice that I wanted to tip them.
