Apr. 30th, 2005 12:58 pmOh, the funk... I am definitely in it. It's like I woke up pissed today. First thing, I go to check my email and some BLEEP has spammed my yahoo group. I was a little ticked. The person in question has been regulated to moderated posts. And what is with people asking me to work on Chase Malfoy? Leave off about that please. I think I need to take a break from ficcing for a while. Just work on rewriting "In Shad" for the publisher. It's not fun anymore, and I can't deal with everyone making cutesy jokes and being demand-y about updates. It gives me a damn eye twitch. I don't really feel like being snappy with everyone who catches me on a bad day, so with a few exceptions, I will be bowing out of the fic writing for a while.
And GOOD GRIEF! Jennifer Wilbanks! I am in awe. I thought I thought I was trapped in a bad situation where I was considering drastic measures. I ain't got nothing on this woman. And knowing it was all a hoax makes those pictures they kept showing of her and her fiance HILARIOUS. Because she has a very wide-eyed look. Knowing that she felt trapped and reluctant makes her seem all deer-in-headlights in the pictures. It's crazy.

eta: I know I have mentioned this before, but I will say it again.... fanfic writers and potential fanfic writers, do not send me your fics to read. I do not read much fanfic anymore. I am not a beta. In fact, I am an automatic corrector, so I make a VERY BAD editor. I like what I like, and sometimes it isn't necessarily the best fic. There is also the fact that I barely have time for my stuff let alone someone else's. I have my set group of writers and fics that I follow, and for creative and personal reasons, I do not read much else online. So please do not send me your fics for me to peruse unless I ask. They will not be read if sent "unsolicited".
