I want to complete "The Distance to You" and "Jealous Face" before the month is out. My NaNo novel will be "Empire of Dirt". I have signed up to write some Faith at![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
tth100. I'm a little sketchy on all the details, but I think I'll figure it out. The first leg of "Empire of Dirt" needs to be rewritten. Not a lot, just a little. At any rate, I am counting it for word count in NaNo, but I don't think 50,000 words is gonna get this puppy told, so I'm not worried about cheating. Besides, when I start counting and rewriting, I have already decided to observe the word count BEFORE, and only count the difference for the first part. Like say it's 5000 words before I rewrite and after the rewrite, it's 8000 words, then only 3000 are new and that's what I count.
