Wow, ouch on that fee!! To be honest, if it had been what pet adoption fees are here locally, I was going to hook you up. I'm a HUGE believer in adopting shelter/rescue pets. The local fee is $75 and that includes spay / neuter. I'd had a small, unexpected influx of cash and I thought it would be fun thing to do. Sorry honey! I wish I could have helped you out. ;_; I know how important having that companionship can be. My pup has literally saved my life, many times.
