I *heart* pirates and ferrets

spankerellaI went holiday shopping with a good friend that I don't get to hang with much anymore tonight. I even had supper with her family. Her stepdad cracks me up. They recently found out they're decended from pirates, so there was this whole pirate theme to dinner conversation tonight that had me giggling like a loony. It was very nice to sit down and be tense about my table manners and chipped nailpolish and not the other people at the table.
Also, hell has frozen over. I actually bought something from the Gap tonight. The Gap is, like, the anti-echo. There was a time when I didn't even buy my jeans from anywhere besides the Salvation Army. There was also a time when all shoes were combat boots. I'm not so 'grunge' these days, But I was still a bit shudder-y (shutter-y) about it. And in shopping somewhere that was so NOT the Gap... I found the perfect addition to my collection of t shirts. Behold the inFANity...
Yes, it's backwards. I stood in front of the mirror in the bathroom. No one's awake to take the pic for me, and I wasn't removing it. I'm wearing it RIGHT NOW. Yes, it has a pic of Draco and says 'I *heart* Malfoy'. So we can see why I splurged. It was way TOO perfect of a shirt for me. I think I actually scared the guy in Hot Topic when I saw it. I don't think he's ever seen a grown woman squee like that before. I just LOVE a good tee though. I'm a cotton girl to my very core.
On another note, I'm slowly getting into writing fic again... much as it seems foreign to me all of the sudden. I plan on doing some holiday fics for people's wish lists. I have my strange crossover that I got the idea for a few weeks ago. Plus, I've been tempted to write a Harry/Pansy fic. Yes, that's right.... a Harry/Pansy fic. Though this shouldn't surprise anyone who's read Eternal Sunshine.
