Okay, I don't get it, why do people bother to write those kinds of comments to authors, I can understand saying something along the lines of you can't wait for the next update, in regards to the idea that you are really looking forward to it, but that, that is just blatant disregard for the feelings of another person or a major attempt to piss them off. I personally I am big fan of your work Echo, I love your work and the fact is that I love both your fanfiction and your original work. The reason that your fanfiction is so good is the way you write, your style of writing and your original work is along the same lines. I think that's what bugs me the most about this... I worked REALLY HARD on my NaNo novel all of November. Then as soon as December rolled around, I eased myself back int fic with the holiday minis, the began finishing up some fic parts.

As a devoted lurker & member of your yahoo group, I am quite appalled by the complete and total disregard for your schedule and your muse.

You write when you write, and what you write is up to you. Your "true" fans appreciate the fact that you decided to try to write an original piece (that I just finished & it was a hellavua good read!). That's your baby. I had stayed away from the board for a while because of your previously mentioned well published announcement of no HP fic for Nov/Dec. Unlike the sniveling twit who wrote that piece of crap review, I was extremely pleasantly surprised to find you had done the minis...still reading them ...enjoying the hell out of them so far.

And if you don't mind, I'd like to friend you to my brand new lj so I can keep more frequently posted. I just starting writing myself...and you were one of the writers who inspired me to get off my ass & do it!
