Today was one of the toughest days of my life. I don't know how I made it. I'm so tired. They did not put in my mother's mediport or do the biopsy because she had liquid on (on not in) her left lung and her blood pressure was too high. The nurses were pissing my shit off too. My mother has never had blood pressure problems before, so they kept asking her if she was nervous. WELL DUH!!! She was having a metal box surgically put into her chest. How would YOU feel? The weird lung liquid was more troubling though. They had to drain that off because it was in between my mother's lung and her ribs, so her lung couldn't inflate all the way. Very stressful for both her and me. I spent most of my day at the hospital. And she's going to be in the hospital until at least Wednesday.

So obviously I am worn out and am going to sleep now. I have a lot of emails and comments to reply to, but I'm too tired. Hasta luego.

Raye and I have decided to start a support group for the three of us as all three of our mothers are in the hospital. We are all the comic relief. Sound good?

Hope you a better day!

It does get better. I agree that some people in hospitals can be morons. "Are you nervous?" They asked my mum exactly the same question when she had her first biopsy because her blood pressure was up - do they actually expect an answer other than a resounding "yes!".

My thoughts are with you. Thinking positive does help. <---am aware it sounds trite, but it is true.

Ah, the blood pressure; that happens alot. I wonder why they're still surprised people are nervous in the hospital. I don't get it.

*hugs tight* Doctors can be such super-shits sometimes. Nurses too. I wish I could give you some sort of advice on how to deal with them but, the truth is, I never figured it out myself. *hugs again*

*hugs* That's icky. And your mom is way more important than emails and comments, especially comments.

Hugs and Prayers

I send the biggest hug that I can to both you and your mom. You'll both pull through this thing all the better for it, don't worry. May the Goddess watch over you and keep you both safe.
Glory
