One more before I go to work. Let's see where it all falls by the time I get home. Have at it folks. I think all of these are very easy.

Here's how it plays... There are 12 movie quotes from 12 different flicks. See if you can guess them. First come, first served. The ones in bold are still un-guessed, but checking the comments to make sure someone hasn't beat you to it isn't a bad idea either.

Game on....

1) "If God made us do it that way, you'd all be pissin' in your faces."

Goonies. Yay, [livejournal.com profile] oracleholly. I love this movie. It's resposible for my whole Sean Astin affinity... which is why I adore Sam in LotR so much. This line was sid by Brand though... when Chunk glued broken-off pee-pee back onto the statue wrong.

*

2) "Death by stereo."

The Lost Boys. Yay, [livejournal.com profile] oracleholly. Vampire movies, I've seen loads. This is one of my faves. Sam says it after he kills the vampire Dwayne.

*

3) "Are you suggesting coconuts migrate?"

Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Yay, [livejournal.com profile] australian_imp. Anyone who has not seen this movie... you SUCK. Put it on your rent and watch list because it's one that all people must see at least once. This is in the conversation about English and African swallows.

*

4) "Did you see the size of that gun he fired at us? It was bigger than him."

Pulp Fiction.Yay, [livejournal.com profile] starry_sunrise. Jules says it to Vincent after the mysteriously do not get hit by the bullets in Brad's apartment. I am not a huge fan of Tarantino. I think he's an annoying lump of turd, but I think this movie was executed nicely both in style, editing, and dialogue.

*

5) "Just look in, and I will be there, waving out at you, naked wearing only a cock ring."

Pump Up the Volume. Yay, [livejournal.com profile] oracleholly. One of my favorite lines from that movie. Mainly because he didn't even really know what it was, he'd just read about it. This line is followed closely in 'like' by "Is it bigger than a baby's arm?", but there were a lot of kinda dirty things said in this film by Christian Slater's character. "Talk hard!"

*

6) "I'll be takin' these Huggies, and, uh, whatever cash you got."

Raising Arizona. Yay, [livejournal.com profile] qill13. An absolutely GREAT film. Hilarious. Nicholas Cage as H.I. cracks me up. The music is also fabulous in this one. The Coen brothers rock hard. "Son, you got a panty on your head."

*

7) "This. This is ice. This is what happens to water when it gets too cold. This. This is Kent. This is what happens to people when they get to sexually frustrated."

Real Genius. Yay, [livejournal.com profile] taerowyn. Val Kilmer as Chris Knight. I love it. I just *LOVE* it. He's so snarky and brilliant and weird.

*

8) "What are you looking at, nerd?"
"I thought I was looking at my mother's old douche bag, but that's in Ohio."

Revenge of the Nerds. Yay, [livejournal.com profile] oracleholly. A highly unrealistic film. Nerd persecution will never fade, but I like it anyway. Booger was so vile. And the words douche and bag together like that always crack me up for some odd reason.

*

9) "Bocci balls!"

Splash. Yay, [livejournal.com profile] lizey. Said by the Statue of Liberty tourguide when he sees naked Madison. It makes me laugh every time. Especially since right before that he says the statue was a symbol of hope to naked women everywhere and right on the heels of his exclamation a woman points and makes the funniest scream ever.

*

10) "We're not homosexuals, but we are willing to learn."

Stripes. Yay, [livejournal.com profile] oracleholly. A great movie. Bill Murray is SO FRICKIN' FUNNY in this. The line is said by Russell (Harold Ramis).

*

11) "It's been swell, but the swelling's gone down."

Tank Girl. Yay, [livejournal.com profile] taerowyn. Said by Rebecca AKA Tank Girl. I just love this movie. It's just... neat.

*

12) "Would you mind telling me, who's brain I did put in?"

Young Frankenstein. Yay, [livejournal.com profile] oracleholly. If you have not see this Mel Brooks' classic... you suck hard. It's a parody MUST. This is said by Frederick to Igor right before he discovers the brain Igor got for him to put in his creation belonged to 'Abby Normal'.

*~*~*

eta: I think I need to tell some of you to limit your guessing to three... like I need to do. Give other folks a chance.

I'm absolutely positive that's right. The two castle guards in the beginning are wondering how they got the horse coconuts to Europe if they were too heavy for a swallow to carry (It was either the African or European that was too small; I can't remember, lol.)

And that was the only one I knew, too. Darn. *rubs hands together in wait for the next list*

1 = Scary Movie 3 (I thinks) 3 = Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail 6 = Raising Arizona 12 = Young Frankenstein

OOH! Did I win a prize?

From: [identity profile] spankerella.livejournal.com
Er, no. No prize. All of your numbers had already been guessed. You were right on all of them but one. Number 1 was not Scary Movie.

It was. It was also Booger saying it.
