This is just one example why I get REALLY frustrated with Christians.

It just really bugs me. Don't they have anything better to do? I mean, there's this devastating tsunami disaster thing happening that they could give aid to. People are homeless. People are dying of diseases. There are so many other causes that I think are more worth the crusade. I just think some people need a new mission.
Yes, I am about to respond to the movie quote guesses.

Date: 2005-01-27 12:00 pm (UTC)It's interesting to me how people take things to such a level that they forget the premise of their religious principals. I guess the realitiy is we find this in every aspect of life: religion, jobs, even fandoms. I just heard about a company trying to enforce their no-smoking policy on employees while at home and off the clock. *shakes head* Some people seem to like to wield a big ol' power stick, but have stuck so far up their arses they don't even realize it's there.

Just browsing random LJ's
Date: 2005-01-28 05:31 am (UTC)This sort of thing really annoys me. My mums a Christian and so I've been brought up in that religion, and it's only now that I'm starting to actually question it. And still, even though I was brought up Christian, I wasn't taught to judge people by what religion or race or whatever they were, but to accept people- isn't that what Christianity is all about?
And this is why I hate these things. While they all preach acceptence, they go and start picking on anybody who doesn't see things their way, which gives Christians a bad name when not all of us (and I don't think anyone I know around here) are actually like that.
And I'm not sure if what I just said actually made sense. I didn't read it through.
