spankerellaEver have one of those really trying days where you have to do stuff you don't wanna do, then something comes along and makes it all ok? Well, scratch ok. Something makes the day kick ass? I needed to buy a strapless bra for this cute little shirt I am wearing to my cousin's wedding shower. I thought I could get away with no bra, but i felt ooky. I had no money for a new bra. Then one of my uncles comes through for me. He was the uncle that when I was a kid he'd give me twenties just because. Well, he was in town today, and 'just because'd me because he hadn't in a while. I was not turning away money. I told him he'd just made my day. That made him happy. So I went shopping, and it only got better from there. I got new shoes to wear to the wedding... new underpants, and I *LOVE* shopping for underpants, and I bought some Napoleon stuff at Hot Topic. Including some ND vanilla lip balm... so my lips don't have to hurt real bad. LOL.
Then I get to work. What had come in today that one of my bosses had snagged one of specifically for me? Goblet of Fire teaser posters. ROCK! We had also gotten in GoF teaser trailers, so I go to watch it in a theatre on the big screen and not my crappy computer monitor. Let me tell you, it looks MUCH better all big and loud.
And I have off work tomorrow. And my other female cousin is coming into town with my fave aunt and we're gonna spend the whole day together tomorrow getting ready for the wedding shower on Saturday (we're the hostesses). Then I have all tomorrow night to write. And I am going out Saturday night, I think.
Weekend looks good. Now I need to find some food because I am starving. I had one of McDonald's fruit and nut salads for dinner. Yummy yes. Filling no. I need some real food. After I eat, I plan on knocking out a mini or two and working on the next part of SC that I started yesterday. I also need to finish some more of the next part of ESotSM and finish up the next part of C Amy. I'm feeling really good though, so maybe I'll put in some music and just write.

Date: 2005-05-12 09:54 pm (UTC)I don't know how many times I've watched the teaser trailer. I more excited about book six, but GoF is fastly making me giddy. Lauren and I plan on driving to Tulsa to see it on IMAX. I can't wait.
