Pimp alert!

I said I would pimp here because I don't allow advertising at malfoy100 or blaise100. So without further ado, if you are into non-fluff and some angst, then here's the RPG for you. I, myself, after reading about it, will not be participating because A) no time, B) I think we know how I feel about angst, and C) Draco's been taken. I do believe he's the only character I'd reprise my RPGing for. I loved writing Draco. Though, I might MIGHT come out of hiding for Blaise. If they'd let him be my Blaise. Anyhow...

Anyhow, I have to finish cleaning house. I had just paused a bit to rest, check email, and see what was going on online today. It's txrangermark's birthday party tonight. My cake turned out to be the ugliest cake I have ever baked in my life, but it tastes good. I snagged a bit that had stuck to the pan. Not pretty, but tasty. I think I'll take that over pretty yet tastes like dirt.

Tomorrow is my step-mother's birthday. I think after this weekend I am going to be all partied out. I was hoping to write some today, but I don't think there will be time. *sigh* Perhaps tomorrow night. I am almost finished with the next part of Little Achilles. Remember that? I have also started rewritting Rough Spirits because I would like to submit it to ComStar as a novel.

All i know about it really is that jesaakitty is Ginny. She's new to my flist, so... it all makes me a little ansty to RPG again, but I know I won't have time. I want/need to be working on my original stuff. I want to wrap up my fanfic WIPs. then I'll be writing less fic and working more on my own ideas. I'll still write fic, don't get me wrong. I just won't write as much. I have my own stories I want to tell. This month has made me excited about my own universes.

Not to say I still won't pop out the occasional fic or collaboration (hint hint).

Looks like my opinion on cakes is roughly equivalent to yours.

I'm the king of "Leave it in the pan and frost the bastard".

But they always turn out tasting good.

Not to toot my own horn, but I am normally a very good baker... things just don't always come out looking their best. Quite edible though. I proved today that I am absolute shite with writing on a cake with gel frost. It was legible, but it looked as though a first grader with poor handwriting skills put the "Happy Birthday Mark" on the cake.

A good friend once told me that she loved everything I cooked because true cooks put their hearts into their creations. I like that idea.
