Now, to carry on, the world has going frickin insane, I think. If I didn't know better I'd swear there was a full moon coming up. Folks only act this crazy during a full moon. I nearly got into two TWO accidents on the way home from work because people don't know how to drive. I only live 15 minutes from where I work.
Then when I get home and go to checking emails, someone had sent me one saying that someone on ff.net is plagiarizing me. I went and checked it out, but it seems that it's already been taken care of, but I emailed the person asking to hear their side because I was sort of... confused about what I saw there. If it's still there, see what you make of it.

I think it *MIGHT* have just been a list of links. While I don't appreciate that at all, because i still have an ff.net account and if I *WANTED* to post there I would... it's not THAT bad. But then I went and read the reviews, and I'm not so sure what *WAS* posted there. Based on the 'reviews' there, it might have very well been copies of the whole fics... like one fic for each 'chapter' because the 'story' that was there had 33 chapters. And apparently one of them was called "Snake Charming". But at this point I'm guessing based on what *IS* there for me to read. I'm waiting for a response to my email before I form an opinion.
World's gone mad. I'm going to sleep.

Date: 2005-09-02 12:17 am (UTC)Summary Inside. You stupid idiots it has nothing to do wth 'stealing fiction I just want to transfer it to my other computher. I don't want to steal anybodys work! My coputer won't burn CD's! Other wise I wouldn't bother!
Story not found. Somehow, I don't believe her drivel. She could very well have emailed herself the link, because obviously if she can go on ff.net, she can set up a fucking yahoo account and have access to the fic and be able to read it from any computer that would be able to access ff.net.
Glad, though, that it's been dealt with. SO not in the mood to be nice, merciful, or anything even close to civil with pathetic little plagiarists. There would've been cyber bloodshed.

Date: 2005-09-02 12:23 am (UTC)They probably just didn't think to use hotmail. Come on, isn't emailing something to yourself far simpler than uploading to ff.net? ...that does actually make it seem a bit unbelieveably silly, but who would plagiarise a bunch of fics in one post and call it 'favourites'?

Date: 2005-09-02 05:35 am (UTC)'Course, from a legal standpoint, fanfic is itself blatant copyright infringement.
