Charming

I'm actually feeling... good today. I finished part 21 of "Snake Charming" and I'm a couple of pages in on part 22. This thing is writing itself. It's weird. It's been so long since I was so taken away by a fic. I think the last time I was writing this hard was when I was still working on "A Drop in the Ocean". It's almost scary the way my muse has just clicked on for this. I knew though. I knew eventually something in my head would figure out a way to get from A to B. I've got at least the next ten parts definitely plotted out in detail.

I think it's safe to say I'll be working on "Snake Charming" for a while. If that disappoints anyone, I'm sorry, but it's been so long since this muse had anything useful to say to me. If she's feeling gabby, I'm listening with every ear I have.

And on a slightly ranty note... no Lily for Neville. Get it out of your heads, people. Not gonna happen. It has already been said he isn't interested in her that way.

Also, there are VERY few characters in HP or BtVS/AtS that I just despise. I can work around just about anybody. If you don't like Connor, I'd quit reading my stuff. I know he's a rotten brat, but I love him for being a rotten brat. Come on now... I like Draco. I honestly feel Connor got shafted by the Angel writers. They could have done so much with that, but Connor wasn't given the chance to grow as a character. I see in him what I saw the first time I read the original screenplay for Buffy (the movie).... more than what was shown. It will be my pleasure to bring this vision forth... because if I can make people fall in love with Greg Goyle and cheer for Marcus Flint to get the girl, I can certainly get a few of you to liking Connor Angel.

And next I'll be bringing in Kate Lockley... and making you guys like her finally. LOL.

But, er, Neville will get some lovin' sometime, right? I agree that the not-Lily thing was made pretty clear, but the poor dumpling needs to get laid in a fierce kind of way. ;)

How can people not like a character that is in such obvious need of having his ass whipped? Literally. He needs to be beaten across the butt. Spanked and spanked but good. I reccomend you or Faith. Or considering Natural Selection - Dawn.

I like Connor too. He's such a little bastard. He really didn't get a chnace. I didn't like Dawn much at first either. She was so bratty, but she was given time to turn that round a little.

You are completely right. You made me start to adore Greg (because in my head, that is what he is known by now, not Goyle), and I admit, when Conner first showed up on Angel, I was all...um...no. But your writing was what made him for me, and I can more than tolerate him now!

And hey, no complaints from me about "Snake Charming". If that's what's in your head, go for it!

Makes me wonder, though...I feel sorry for poor Neville. Poor, poor Neville...*hoping you get the Neville vibes*...

Disappointed? Yeah, right. It's been awhile and I'm going to have to read all off 'Drop' and 'Snake Charming' again (good thing I'm on hols) but always happy to read your stuff.

I like Kate...on Law & Order. You are partly to blame for my extreme dislike of her. The bitch married Riley in one of your fics.
