fic update and Grammy update

Yes, weekend shot to all hell due to Rita and unforeseen hospital visits, but all is well. We didn't go out of town because the place where we were going was supposed to get some massive flooding due to Rita (it's on a lake), but also because of Grammy. Well, Grandma is in good spirits and doing much better. She's still have surgery, but she's in really good spirits about it. And no, this is not the grandmother that just had her hip replaced. This is the other one who has the pacemaker. They let her come home today, but she has to go back on Wednesday morning to check in for surgery. They are well satisfied that she is doing better. It was just a scare. She's already assured everyone that she is going to be fine. I am staying at her house tomorrow night. Grammy's a tough lady. I believe her when she says she's going to be fine. She also says she hasn't quite done everything she wants to do just yet.
