I *WAS* going to write last night, but I went into work instead. Why? Because they were short-staffed. Why? Somebody called in again. And I don't believe she's really sick. You know it's really sad when you've cried wolf so many times that people doubt you. Her mother has been calling to say she's sick. First of all, if you are old enough to have a job, you are old enough to call yourself in. That's part of learning to be an adult. This girl might really be sick, but I doubt her. Why? Because she's called in for ridiculous reasons before. She's just stupid and young and I'm glad I don't work with her often. I mean, I don't act like an adult all the time. I fully admit that, but I don't have my mommy call in sick for me either.

So now I must trust to finish part 4 of "The Distance to You" before I head in to work today. *sigh* I also wanted to write at least one Faith mini, but we'll see.

tthjinni, I finished Talon's story and the short with V'Aidan. Will start Zarek tonight at work. I'm plowing through these quite nicely.

Glad to hear you're getting through the books. Talon is the reason I grin whenever I get beignets to munch on. *swoon*

So you're gonna be starting good old loony toon Zarek, huh? Personally, I'm not a big Zarek fan, but others are. He's probably just your type - a bad boy. *grin*

And then...then you get Vane maybe? And then Valerius...and then the Alexion. Oh shiver-y delight. You'll be well caught up by the time Wren's book comes out at the end of December.

I think he was just too much darkness for me, personally. I was used to the typical romantic hero...and Zarek is NOT it. Not by a looooooooong shot. *snicker*

Is it December yet? *whimpers* I need a new DH fix!!! I know that, at 2 a year, she puts out more than most authors do...but damnit... its just not quick enough. I want to get to Acheron's book already!!!

I'm a little concerned for Connor right about now, but I still liked it.
