We're off to stake the wizard

So the Wizard of Oz was on tonight. I think that most people who know me know that I have a deep and affectionate love for this movie. Especially for the Wicked Witch. Love her. Great cackle. Superb. I've also always felt that Glenda was about as useful as a screen door on a submarine. But I love the movie. Even if Dorothy's a bit too much of a sugar cookie, I still love her for being so sweet.

So I was thinking about what if Faith got dumped in Oz instead of Dorothy? Different movie. WAY different movie. LOL.

Actually, if you went true to book-canon instead of movie, I can't see Faith touching the golden cap to summon the monkeys with a ten-foot pole. The incantation is worse than the one Giles did with the magic gourd.

I love the Wizard of Oz, in nearly all its incarnations, but damn it, couldn't they have gotten their witches straight?
