Sorry for the spam, flist. I had lots to say today. Last post of the day. Promise.

This is how it works: Comment on this entry and I will give you a letter. Write ten words beginning with that letter in your journal, including an explanation what the word means to you and why, and then pass out letters to those who want to play along.

I was assigned the letter B by empressvesica.

1. Buffy - I don't think I really need to explain this one. This show seeped into my very being. It changed so many things for me. I was such a rabid fangirl that people knew better than to call me from 7 to 8 on Tuesday nights... unless it was to comment on recent events in the playing episode during a commercial break.

2. Battlestar Galactica - My newest TV obsession. I *heart* Starbuck. She's my girl. Favorite character. She acts like I tend to. She acts like a few of my girlfriends do. Yes, we are the sorts that slam peoples' heads into table tops. I'm a total Lee/Kara shipper. But I am totally and utterly in love with Chief Tyrol. He's my bear.

3. Blaise - As in Blaise/Luna. The one pairing in fanfic I feel I can take credit for. They're such fun. A manwhore and a space-y bohemian type. I will always have a soft spot for this pairing.

4. banned books - I love it when people are so affected by a work that they ban it. Writing should be about passion. At least, I think so. I read banned books. A lot of people do... simply because they are forbidden. I hope to be banned somewhere someday.

5. bubble bath - I love bubbles. I like bathing in them. The scent really doesn't matter, but my faves include cotton blossom, honeysuckle, cherry blossom, watermelon, vanilla, gardenia, lavender, and bubblegum.

6. Bender - As in John Bender from the Breakfast Club. *sigh* Snarky badboy... do I stutter? I just recall watching him as a little girl and thinking... wow, he's totally rad.

7. Botticelli - Sandro Botticelli. Painter. Birth of Venus. I love that painting. I love her hair. It's how hair ought to be... all beautiful and flow-y. Plus, she's naked.

8. bite - It's a vampire thing. I love the bite. In a horror novel it can be more sexual than sex.

9. Barbie - Such a pop culture thing. I liked Skipper better though. She had more realistic boobies. Then there's... like, omigod, my name is Barbie. My favorite color is clear, and I was born on my birthday. I want a pink car and a pink dream house. Ken can eat plastic though. I'd rather date GI Joe. He has the Kung Fu grip. *eyebrow wiggle* LOL.

10. Bohemian - As in Bohemian Rhapsody. As in Queen. This song is VERY special, and not just because of Wayne's World. A group of us calling ourselves Jim Jones and the Koolaid made a video to this song once. Quite crazy. It was one of the wildest nights of my life, and I had not even been drinking. None of us had. That's why it's so funny.

eta: If anyone is curious as to how I am choosing their letters, I am closing my eyes, spinning around in my chair, then touching the keyboard. And if it's already been assigned, I choose the letter next to it. LOL.

I do love your Blaise/Luna. And Starbuck, she is awesome. I just watched the miniseries part (for the first time. I'm not sure how I missed it for so long!) and I loved when she punched Tigh at the begining. Great stuff.
