For anyone interested, TtH is still down. I just know I told a few people that I'd post when it was back up, but it isn't as of now. Stupid host. Oh well, it's given me time to write.
I have to work later. I really don't want to go. A) I stayed up fairly late for me last night. And B) There are certain people who will be there tonight I'd just rather avoid. I have to make sure I have a book, so I can be antisocial for a reason. Most people know not to disturb me if I'm reading.
Amy sent this to me. Not sure where she nicked it from, but I know I've read it in a couple of other journals before now.
1. Who are your current celebrity crushes? (Define "celebrity" however you want.)
James Marsters, John Cusack, Orlando Bloom, Diego Luna, Gary Oldman, Alan Rickman, Viggo Mortensen, Jonathan Rhys Meyers...
2. Who is your longest-lasting celebrity crush?
John Cusack. Since 16 Candles. Need I say more?
3. Who is the celebrity crush most likely to identify you as a geek?
Well, it defines me as an acting geek, but... Oldman. Yep, Gary Oldman... because it's not so much his face or anything of him, though I can be moved by that *cough*Scarlet Letter*cough cough cough*... it's his talent. The man is hugely talented. It stops me short sometimes. I've been known not to move while watching Gary Oldman.
4. Who is the weirdest celebrity you ever had a crush on?
Have to say Rob Zombie. I just don't get that one at all.
5. Who was your first celebrity crush? How old were you?
Han Solo (not Harrison Ford). I think I was 4 or 5. I remember being completely drawn to the way his shirt gaped open for some reason. All I know is that by the time Empire came out, I didn't want to be LIKE Princess Leia, I wanted to BE her because she got to kiss Han Solo.
6. Would you sleep with one of your crushes?
James Marsters. I mean, if you've watched Buffy, you've seen just about all he has to offer. Would you turn that away? I think not. Jonathan Rhys Meyers wouldn't get passed over either. Although I don't know about going all the way. I'd really just like to kiss him. He's got the most incredible set of lips for a guy.
7. Who is the celebrity you are most embarrassed to admit you have a crush on?
Orlando Bloom... because he's the fantasy of many a 14 year old girl, and I am well past 14.

Date: 2004-02-23 12:38 am (UTC)I stumbled upon your story deja Potter vu way back when you were over at fanfiction.net. I have read all of your stories at least once and have read Absolutely Spiffing about 3 times, but that's besides the point. I recently read A Drop in the Ocean and am following along Snake Charming. This is my first time reading Buffy Crossovers, actually anything Buffy related. I was wondering if there are any other writers of fic that you would recommend I read? I really like they way you write and they way the characters are developed.
Thank you in advance.

Date: 2004-02-23 05:08 pm (UTC)Jinni is awesome. She writes kick ass crossovers and Narcissa/Sev fic that's just divine.
Davesmom and Mynuet are REALLY good for Draco/Ginny.
Houses, damn, I like just about anything she writes. Her Merry Gentry crossovers are excellent. Also, her epic "Willow Tree Burning" is awesome.
Speaking of epics, Karen's "Freakazoid High" is very nice, but I also recomend reading the first two fics in that universe, so long as you Dawn and Connor fan. "Camp Killalot" and "Here We Come to Save the Day" The series so far is affectionately called Camp Here Freak by a few.
