This chic that writes an online column wants to interview me about writing fanfic. I was skeptical at first, but then I went and read her article. Knew I had to say yes then. But I'm still me, so I had to ask her why me. She provided a very decent reason that made sense... and informed me that I was not the only one she'd asked. When I heard the company I was keeping for this endeavor, I could in no way refuse. She asked Jinni (TtH) and Devildoll too. How can I say no to something KA (AKA Devildoll) said yes to?
A lot of people seem a little surprised when I tell them I remember DD from way back. They get all... 'but she's in the Xmen fandom'. So? Like that's the only fandom she lived in. Hello, do I, myself, or do I not live in two universes? It's an Eternal Angel thing with us though. There are so many of us who were the core of that list. We posted more than The Bat Pack list does. Way OT too, but it was fun. Everybody knew everybody. Hell, we even had a soundtrack made. And it wasn't just a list of songs for downloading. No, someone actually made the CDs and shipped them out to everybody. I've lost track of a lot of those people that I met when I was first learning about writing fanfic, but some of them I still speak to. One of them I have even met face to face finally. Others I have spoken to on the phone. Hell, even certain people I have exchanged snail mail with. Certain people liked to send birthday cards my way once upon a time. LOL.
And now I guess I'll go work on some of those stories in my head.
In other news, please have a look at the new image Amy sent me for the splash page at CF....

She said my picture with Spike's tongue gave her the idea. She is such a pervert.... then again, so am I, so this works out well. But damn, if that image doesn't drive me to distraction with thoughts of writing some Snape smut. I'm reminded of those 'you are here' maps. LOL. I wish I was. This is also not helped by watching the gif of Diego. Do you know how funny that thing is while listening to Rob Zombie?

Hee! And it *is* the same one who asked me. Small world. Fandom. Whatever.

Joss unites the world, man.

Hell, yeah. Four thousand messages a month, from a handful of people. And damn we were funny.

I just came across mine while working on the large project of loading all my CDs onto my Mac, and it was like I was right back on the list.
