So I finally saw Boondock Saints tonight. Yes, yes, yes, I'd never seen it before despite the fact that everyone and their grandma's dog who'd seen it told me I'd love it something awful. StFU! I've seen it now, ok. Better late than never, right? Well, you guys were so right about me loving the sh*t out of that film, but that's not the point.

Point: I TOTALLY get some women's compulsion to have brothers. To HAVE brothers. Totally get it now. Couldn't choose. Shouldn't have to. Two. Connor and Murphy MacManus... damn. I mean, DAMN. Quite sexy. Quite sexy the both of them.

I need a scrappy Irishman in my bed. Yep. Or possibly two of them. Yep. I mean, hello, tattoos. They so had the tattoos! Tattoos are a great weakness of mine. The right man with the right tattoo can make my knees go weak. Especially if it happens to be on his pelvic bone. This is followed quite closely by side-of-the-neck tats.

But perhaps that was too much information? With the pelvic bone thing? Oh well. Boondock Saints... two thumbs way up. Will be buying soon so I can rewatch over and over and over and, oh, over again.

Boondock Saints is the awesome. There's supposed to be a sequel that should have been out over the summer.

"And there was a firefight!" (What a cool ass scene)

Sequel? YES. Score. Awesome. This has been one of those things that has totally and utterly seeped into my consciousness. It's a rare thing that a film becomes a part of me upon a first viewing, but here we go. It definitely struck a chord and not just because it had hot Irish guys in it.

Interestingly enough - I bought that at the beginning of last week, intending to watch it to see what all the hype was about. I didn't get a chance to, though. Maybe now I will take the time and watch it. *grin*

WATCH.

Interestingly enough, Sarah and I are going by Best Buy to snag it before going to mel and Eric's today. That should tell you something.

There IS supposed to be a sequel entitled "All Saints Day". However, the director and writer, Troy Duffy, is said to be a perfectionist and damn hard to work with. There are gads of complications with production and conflicting schedules and as far as I know the movie is still in pre-production and may never see the light of day. Not that I keep close tabs on it or anything! ;)

Movies so magnificently balanced as this don't come around everyday. I'm always happy to find a new fan!

Please tell me you watched the deleted scenes on the DVD? You know, the ones where the boys are rolling around NAKED on the floor as they talk on the phone to their mom in Ireland? If you didn't, omg, go pop that puppy right back into the play and watch it NOW. It was soooooooo good. ^___^

lol, yeah I've only recently seen Boondock Saints as well. My best bud got me addicted to it. Sadly I've yet to get any extra cash to go out and buy it. I'm glad that you enjoyed the flick.

I'm a Conner girl, though I love the both of them dearly. But I just love the older brother protectiveness that Conner has. Plus, Norman Reedus is cute, but Sean Patrick Flannery is undeniably hot. But I would definitely like to have brothers if I could. Both of them. With or without the Irish accent. I've a weakness for tattoos as well, especially tattoos that combines my linguistic love of Latin.

There's a deleted scenes section? My DVD doesn't have that. Oh dear lord, I need to buy another DVD. But that buy was so worth it, because I see what the deal is with the brothers, now. So many people had recommended it, I just had to know. And now I am the better with knowing.

I'm trying to find information on the sequel, but can find nothing. It's quite frustrating. IMDB has nothing. I'm quite impatient now, despite only having recently watched it. Because really, what can be hotter than two hot men with Irish accents and tattoos and a slightly skewered sense of morality and a wicked sense of fun with fantastic ability with guns? I absolutely adore the two of them.
