Ever been watching TV and come to a startling realization?

Yeah.

It went a little like this... OMG. Wow. Pretty. He's probably 12. I'm a perverted old Mrs. Robinson. Wait, imdb says he's how old? He doesn't look it really. NIIIIICE. Not as much of a perv as I thought. Officially in the thrall of a new crush.

And now I feel totally justified in my latest disturbing crush. He'll be 30 in July. I'm almost embarrassed to say how this all came about. I was watching a certain mini-marathon of a certain show that rhymes with "feel more curls", and I had an Anne Rice spooky type epiphany. The guy playing Jess, the wonderfullly attractive and totally within my age bracket Milo Ventimiglia, reminded me of somebody.

One of my F-ing Lestats.

I have two now... Josh and Dorian. My vampires. I was watching Jess snark it up with his kinda bushy wild hair and his quizzical brow and his dark eyes and I thought... wow, it's like watching Josh, but not. I mean, that's sort of what Josh looks like in my head kinda. And if you upped the volume on his sarcasm a couple of decibles, he could be Josh. It was spooky. And in my search for images to show what I'm talking about, I came across one (the first one here) that SERIOUSLY embodies what my head sees for Josh. I stared at it blinking for a few minutes because Is eriously couldn't believe what I was seeing, you know? Way spooky.



Though not quite as spooky as watching Jared Padalecki be all scrawny (for him) and play someone named Dean. I have to go watch as much SPN as I can now to cleanse myself of that one. *shudder* After I rewatch a few scenes in the movie Cursed because MV is in that. I'm so hopeless. Yes, I know he's on Heroes too, but I just can not get into that show for some reason. Though watching the reruns of "feel more curls" did strangely make me want to devil egg someone's car. Odd that.

One a slightly-related fangirl note, myself, tthjinni, star1sar, and orion777 are going to see Casa Manana's production of "A Few Good Men" in June. How is this fangirl related, do you ask? Well, the play in question will be starred in by one JENSEN ACKLES of the supernatiural hotness (yes, I meant that to be punny). And we have good seats. We have excellent seats.

Yeah, me too. Because, while that might catch Jensen's attention, I'm not sure it's the right KIND of attention grabbing. LoL.

I keep having random urges to squee when I think about this.

sierraphoenix is driving up here from Austin-ish area just to see it on Sunday. Fangirls from far and wide are congregating on Fort Worth that weekend. It's hilarious.

So...I read this and can actually picture panties bursting into flame. It's seems like it would be pretty painful. Unless it's a cartoon then it's just funny. So here's hoping you end up in the anime-porn version of that cartoon. You know...so there's no lasting harm from the panty-fire and you can still get a happy ending.

I has the same experience. I thought, "OMG! I'm 30! I'm such a perv!"
And what's worse... I consider myself to lean more towards homosexuality than bisexuality. So, it's rare for a man to excite me that much. When my husband met me, I was dating girls only. We ended up shagging and I got pregnant, so here I am...
I was very relieved that Milo is my age.

(Dan Radcliffe, on the other hand, falls into the gray area... He's barely legal, and the publicity shoot from Equus demonstrates that he actually looks like a MAN and not a boy. Still, he's not much older than my daughter, so he's a Pandora's Box.)

And the funny thing is, I have never watched Gilmore Girls. My mom loves it, one of my best friends swears by it, but I only have passing familiarity with the characters. LOL (Although I'm really thinking about watching, and it's all thanks to MV.)

I know this is way old, but I had to comment.

Ah, Milo, he's so hot. I had the reverse problem when I first saw him, I though, YEY hot guy around my age. Then I went, O.o. Jess is the best character, I think, and he is, unfortunately, what I measure all others against, what is better than a well-read bad boy?

When I read In Shadowside I saw Milo as Josh too! :)
