Thinking about things. Mostly things I don't even want to go into here. It's no one's business, but myself and the other person's. Yes, I mean YOU. So there's that.
The guy I normally work with got fired today. It was a bit surreal. I could not stand him when he first started working here, but I hugged him goodbye. He wasn't so bad... just dumb. Poor dumb boy. He was easily distracted and made a lot of errors. There was also the fact that you had to damn near threaten his life to get him to do his share of the filing.
I have to go by the grocery store on my way home. We're having Thanksgiving at work on Thursday. So irritating. It doesn't feel like we should be doing that yet.

Date: 2007-11-14 12:23 am (UTC)She asked if I'd ever cooked a turkey before, and I thought perhaps she was joking. I mean, the first Thanksgiving meal I prepared for her was twelve years ago, when my mother had gall bladder surgery. I've been cooking holiday meals for at least that long, and somehow she missed that? LOL
Anyway, I love to create and use the traditional meal as a starting point. This year I am preparing turkey shepard's pie, with sweet potatoes. I might make pumpkin-cider soup or sweet potato cornbread for an appetizer.
BTW I finished In Shadowside, and can't wait until the sequel, Excellent work!
