Man.. that is true.. those Authers are the best! I like so many authors that I couldn't name them all.. I forget some authors because I like the books..But.. deff hugs to Stephen King, Joss, JK Rowling, Emily Dickinson, CS Lweis and Shakespeare. And to the one 19 year old that just wrote that one book.. 'Eragon'.

oh, kudos to jk rowling-for making me believe in magic again. oh and tolkien. he writes a great 'hobbit'. i thank his man for his vision-to think it all started out with a man who was disappointed that the isles didn't have any myths...hordes and hordes of D&D fans thank him...

I can't thank Tolkien. Just like a very nearly DID NOT thank Austen. He wrote brilliantly. He created something magificent that, indeed, influenced my willingness to go forth a make something from scratch, but Tolkien was a tough read for me. (Lord of the Rings, not The Hobbit) I love how Jackson and co made it more accessible though with the films... even though the films were not, in places, a direct representation of the books. They were close enough to me.
