reading spoilers for Angel

So I was watching Angel tonight and when they did the sneak for the last episode, I was uncontrollably compelled to go spoiler hunting due to a few choice words.
Wesley dies!
What in the fuck is that SHIT?! I mean, haven't the last two seasons of Angel technically been a rousing round of 'kick the former watcher'? Do we really need to hammer it in by killing the poor guy? What in the shit? I'm so upset. I hope it's not true, but I have a feeling it so is. And when I read HOW he dies, I got all choked up. Goddess, if they do it that way, I won't be able to watch. I'll be crying too damn hard.
Although I read that Connor shows up again. Happy about that. Liked him as a well-adjusted kid who just happened to be decent at the killing of evil things.
I ask you, gentle readers, can this day get ANY worse? I think not.

gianfared. This amused me... because we ALL know how fond I am of bizarre pairings.

Date: 2004-05-13 12:52 am (UTC)Loved, LOVED, the Wesley-ness of this episode. Even when there's the possibility that Angel was responsible for Fred's death he didn't go completely nuts (unlike, say, his reaction to Gunn) and he kept holding onto the thought that either Angel wasn't evil or, if he was, that he could be brought back to the fold. I just loved coming back to the Wesley who has this level of respect for Angel. It's nice to see that facet again...however brief the glimpse may be *sniff, sniff*
