First off, let me say happy birthday to [livejournal.com profile] tthjinni. Hope you're having a good weekend in sin city. Might have to scribble you some birthday fic before Monday.

Secondly, the plagiarist situation has been taken care of by TtH better than I could have hoped for. There is now a Plagiarist section on the TtH site, and this ghost person is on it. Excellent. Maybe they'll think twice about doing this again. I'd like to thank everyone who offered me advice or attempted to get something done for my sake. It was greatly appreciated, overzealous though some of us were. *wink* I sincerely hope everyone who supported me in this and was offended on my behalf goes to bat like this for anyone else who gets plagiarized in the future. If people see more often what becomes of them in the fic community when they do this kind of thing, maybe they will opt NOT to do it more often. Now all I have to do is gather all my information to send this person to Jen at Known Plagiarists.

Third, I know a lot of you were just as offended as I was by this, but I want to ask you to let it go. Justice has been served in my opinion. Please don't flame the person by mail or anything like that. Sure, it'll make you and likely me feel a little better for blowing off some steam, but it's not nice. Karma is doing a decent enough job here. Don't bring bad vibes onto yourself by being vindictive.

Fourth, tomorrow I will post my "to do" list for next week. It will likely have some of the same stuff on it as this past week's did. I didn't get a whole lot finished. Though I did get an excellent idea to start my 20 minute Fred finally. I'm a little impressed with the set-up and crossing I came up with. I've never crossed these universes before.

But today I'm having lunch with my Grandma, then going to a barbeque tonight. I plan to eat, drink, and generally be merry. And if I drink enough, there may be dancing. LOL.

First of all, I'm sorry I did not put my two cents in when the plagiarist situation came up, but I do offer my sympathies now. Secondly, I'm grateful on your part that all worked out well, and I really do hope the plagiarist will think twice before doing it again.

Thirdly, big fan of dancing or not quite? *grin*

Don't worry about the plagiarist. It's been taken care of as far as I'm concerned. Though 'ghost' finally mailed me back and I still have to reply to THAT. Not quite calm enough to be polite and not use a lot of Jasper-licious vocab, so that reply will be waiting until after the weekend is my thinking. I'll be less likely to use the words 'douche drinker' in my response by then.

Thirdly, big fan of dancing or not quite? *grin*

Can't you tell by my stories? HUGE fan of dancing. It's just about as dangerous as kissing if you have the right partner. Dancing can be one of the most sensual things on the planet if the music, mood, and moves are just so.

Er on the mailing back. Should I even dare wonder what was in that email? And hell, you deserve to get mad, "ghost" stole something that you created and made it hers, you have every right to say the worse to her plus a few more. But I admire you more the fact that you won't.

As for dancing... it's a pleasure I don't have much of a chance to indulge in, so much more the pity. I've never found a partner that I can truly enjoy dancing with, I just dance to forget my problems, what few there are. However, there was an instance when I took latin dancing a few years ago...

My stomach plummeted when I read about the plagiarism. It's wonderful to see everything has worked out to your satisfaction. I think you handled that quite well.

I plan to eat, drink, and generally be merry. And if I drink enough, there may be dancing. LOL.

Go you! That's my kind of fun. ;P

First of all, hi.

Second, OMG.

Third, okay, coherency.

I've been a fan of your writing for several years now. No, really. Years. Getting Cookies was my Mecca for you have no idea how long. When you posted the first part of A Drop in the Ocean, I realized I had to read Harry Potter. I remember when you guys started the Fawkes RPG. I've followed everything you've written since then, greeting each e-mail from the Yahoo group with squeeing and adoration. I've probably sent you sent you 7 or 8 e-mails telling you this exact same thing. Likely from random addresses, so you haven't the sightest clue who I am, but in general?

<-- Massive Echo fangirl

So imagine my intense surprise and glee when I switch e-mail addresses (yet again), am trying to find the link to sign up to the Yahoo e-mail group again, and find out you have an LJ.

There was a minor explosion in Western Washington about 5 minutes ago, and it was my squee-center shorting out.

In conclusion: big fan, and friending you now if it's not a bother. Looking forward to seeing you on my friendslist.=oD
