I ended my word could on a good note yesterday. I feel good about it. I can do this. I have so many words in my head. I should be able yo bang out 50k more, right? Yeah. Sure. I just hope people aren't disappointed in the ending to "The Fourth Corner". It doesn't end well, and I think what happens might shock a few readers, but please keep in mind that it is the middle book in a trilogy, and what "middle" in another trilogy do I love? That's right - Empire Strikes Back. Did that one end well? Decidedly not. Han's frozen in carbonite and Luke lost a hand. Not fun times. But there was hope.

I am also getting ready to go out of town for a writer's retreat. I expect to get a crap-ton done then. After this last week at work, I am ready to get away.

I am SO EXCITED. Words cannot express... I've been glancing in at your updates on fb but I've realized I probably never made the connection between my lj and my real name since we were never really on real name terms even though I've been following you on various sites (yahoo newsgroups FTW! I still remember Cauldron Chronicles and Fawkes RPG fondly) because I was like... twelve when I started reading fic and didn't want to mention that to my favorite writers or lie either. So I lurked. So... hi again! I'm Lizzi and I just got my second edition copy of In Shadowside in the mail and am so looking forward to the day when I have a few hours to myself to sit down with it and get sucked into the Shadow all over again.
