Yes. My copy of "Fallen Host", the sequel to "Archangel Protocol" arrived in the mail today. I highly reccomend this series by Lyda Morehouse. It was recommended to me by [livejournal.com profile] blue_squishie. So far = very good. I think I read the first book in like two days. It's a sci-fi mystery with religious themes. I can't even think of how else to describe it. It's not so technical that I couldn't follow along. Sure, it takes a bit to figure out exactly what they're talking about, but it's like that in any book where there's tech stuff for me. I'm still on about them calling Satan Morningstar. I love that, and I'm jazzed because it looks like the second book in the series will have more of him. I like the character of Satan in the tale. Go figure.

Also, I started a new mini instead of working on the next parts of other stuff that desperately needs working on. Bad echo! Bad! I couldn't help it. It's all [livejournal.com profile] booster17's fault. Him and his naughty icon made the plot ducks start a'quacking. Though on the plus side, I finished up a my part on a collaboration with another author. So... yay. But I *REALLY* needed to work on the next part to Wicked Weird and SC. I also started a B/L fic that I didn't need to start. Damn plot ducks... shut up for a couple of days and lemme catch up, ay?

First, it must be said that I love "Whose Line Is It Anyway". Whether it's the Brit or Americanized version.

Second, don't make an ass of yourself at the box office of the movie theatre. Just don't. We *DO* make fun of you after you walk off. This lady came up tonight looking for the new movie with Ricky Shroder (I know I spelled that wrong but I am too lazy to look it up) in it. There *IS* a new movie coming on with him in it, but it's a TV movie. It comes on TNT. I tried to explain this to her. She refused to believe me. What an asshat. If it hadn't been so dang funny, I'd be pissed off. But her denial was SO very amusing. She even went to the theatre across the street to see if they had it there. Even after I told her to go home and watch channel 45 (TNT) because they'd been playing commercials for the TV movie all day today. They played it twice when I was watching Law and Order reruns earlier and at a least once during the rerun of Angel today while I was getting dressed for work. I hope she feels stupid later.

Lastly, possible new book series to be hooked on thanks to [livejournal.com profile] blue_squishie. It's the one that starts with "Archangel Protocol" by Lyda Morehouse. So far I am completely HOOKED and I'm only a little over 30 pages in. I am in *LOVE* with the character Michael (who I strongly suspect is the archangel of the same name) calling a character I believe is Lucifer... Morningstar. Damn, that's amazing. I love it. I love clever nicknames like that. For being non-Catholic, I sure do get into the archangels A LOT. The whole battle between Lucifer and Michael is a secret passion of mine.

My LiveBrownie status!

Wow. Not very popular. Typical, but not shocking. I've never been the most popular girl at the party. It makes me wonder about things. LOL. Maybe I haven't softened up since high school. Good to know. I'm one of those fungus people. I have to grow on you. Many people hate my guts upon first meeting me. Some change, some don't, but many of my current friends tell me they didn't like me until they really knew me. I'm not as concerned with people liking me though... that's why half of them end up doing so. I just really want people to like my work. Anything I write is better than I could ever be as a person anyhow.
