First, it must be said that I love "Whose Line Is It Anyway". Whether it's the Brit or Americanized version.

Second, don't make an ass of yourself at the box office of the movie theatre. Just don't. We *DO* make fun of you after you walk off. This lady came up tonight looking for the new movie with Ricky Shroder (I know I spelled that wrong but I am too lazy to look it up) in it. There *IS* a new movie coming on with him in it, but it's a TV movie. It comes on TNT. I tried to explain this to her. She refused to believe me. What an asshat. If it hadn't been so dang funny, I'd be pissed off. But her denial was SO very amusing. She even went to the theatre across the street to see if they had it there. Even after I told her to go home and watch channel 45 (TNT) because they'd been playing commercials for the TV movie all day today. They played it twice when I was watching Law and Order reruns earlier and at a least once during the rerun of Angel today while I was getting dressed for work. I hope she feels stupid later.

Lastly, possible new book series to be hooked on thanks to blue_squishie. It's the one that starts with "Archangel Protocol" by Lyda Morehouse. So far I am completely HOOKED and I'm only a little over 30 pages in. I am in *LOVE* with the character Michael (who I strongly suspect is the archangel of the same name) calling a character I believe is Lucifer... Morningstar. Damn, that's amazing. I love it. I love clever nicknames like that. For being non-Catholic, I sure do get into the archangels A LOT. The whole battle between Lucifer and Michael is a secret passion of mine.

Wow. Not very popular. Typical, but not shocking. I've never been the most popular girl at the party. It makes me wonder about things. LOL. Maybe I haven't softened up since high school. Good to know. I'm one of those fungus people. I have to grow on you. Many people hate my guts upon first meeting me. Some change, some don't, but many of my current friends tell me they didn't like me until they really knew me. I'm not as concerned with people liking me though... that's why half of them end up doing so. I just really want people to like my work. Anything I write is better than I could ever be as a person anyhow.

Will do. I'm in love with the idea anyhow. It's a sci-fi story with religious themes. It's archangels and devils set in the future. It's traditional religious mythos combined with science and technology. Just enough of both for me to be interested but not lost.

As for books recs, I do have a list of them and why I reccomend them on my site. It's unfinished, but most everything is there. But I'll keep you posted on the Morehouse books.

So I ended up getting the first book in that sci-fi series. And, wow. It was... just wonderful. I love interesting takes on religion. Especially as old and established a religion as Catholicism.

Was very disappointed when I logged into Amazon to buy book 2, only to find out its discontinued and I'll have to buy it used. Same deal at B&N. Uber-suck.

Still, great book and I have to thank you for just mentioning it in your LJ.

I know! I finally finished reading it while waiting for my mother to come out of her surgery, but it's been so hectic around here, I haven't been able to work up a review.

I, also, was disappointed at not being able to locate the second book. I bought it used from halfpricebooks.com. I can't wait until it comes in the mail.
