damned ice on the roads

So far the weather has not caused anyone to back out on the Narnia outing. I'm waiting though. I expect some flaking. It's bad out there, and I don't know how brave we are. I still want to go, but I don't know if anyone will feel like driving. I don't blame anyone for not wanting to go. It'll make me sad, but I won't be mad or anything.

I'm hoping conditions improve.

Also, I found Mark Two on LJ. Interesting.

Amy told me that it was snowing in Dallas, but I heard all you guys were getting is flurries. The roads here were pretty icy. Two classes of mine were canceled because profs didn't want to brave the ice.

We didn't get any snow where *I* live. It was all sleet.

I don't know what it is about down here but any snow we do get never settles, it melts almost instantly, so snow days are unheard of. Just as long as everyone affected by the snow is being careful on the roads.

Well, snow's pretty rare here as well. That's why there have been so many accidents. People try to drive like it's dry and sunny out. Dumbassses.

Blast the weather, it would have been nice if this movie had been earlier in the year. I'll cross my fingers you all still get to go... I'm relying on hearing your review to tide me over as I will not get to go tonight.
