So Pirates.

I liked it. I did. It was a bit long, but I enjoyed it. It was fun. Definitely better than Superman... which I still don't have the heart to review.
+ Jack Sparrow, as always.
- Jack had fewer Jackisms. He only said savvy once or twice and I didn't hear a onesy. Not enough rum talk for my taste.
- The unnecessary gross-outs. The crow and the eyeball? Ewww. So did not need to see that.
+ William Turner's back right before he got whipped. Niiiice.
+++ James Norrington. OMGess! He had the Aragorn thing going on. Much better scruffy. That crush is in FULL effect now.
+ The threeway fight. Funny.
+ The kiss between Elizabeth and Jack. That was pretty hot.
- Elizabeth handcuffing Jack to the Black Pearl so he had to feed himself to the giant toothed hooha. And it spit on him. Hilarious, but I did not like that about her character. It didn't feel right.
+ The voodoo lady.
- The fact that the voodoo lady looked like she'd been eating an ink pen that exploded in her mouth.
+ The ghost dress.
- Jack readily agreeing to get 100 souls for Davey Jones (and did anyone else think Davey Jones of the Monkeys for a little bit? I was singing "Girl" a couple times in the movie and cracking up the persons sitting next to me)
- Jack selling out Will to Davey Jones.
- The thing on the back of Davey's head that looked like a giant pulsating Albino's nutsack.
+ The monkey.
+ The dog.
- They left the dog on the cannibal island!!
+++ Barbosa is back!!!

Oh, I know what it was supposed to be. Unfortunately, that was NOT my thoughts on the matter, and everytime they showed the back of his head I was distracted by my own thoughts on the matter.

yes! loved the movie. agreed on the jackisms and etc. i'm still not quite sure i think about Elizabeth handcufing Jack to the Black Pearl... but one thing is i think she should have told Will *something* so he'd stop looking.. like a kicked puppy (?)
YES. James Norington. the awesomeness. only, when he and jack were fighting or well, i can't remember the exact moment, but i kept thinking they should get it on and it was kinda scaring me. my thoughts. wierd0

Oh, that was great! I love Geoffrey Rush; he's incredible. Probably the only actor I can think of off-hand who could play opposite Alan Rickman and really hold his own. (Hmm...why haven't they done any movies together yet?)

Yessss. It was sweet, especially the angle they filmed it at. Made me think of naughty things.

Really? Davey Jones of the Monkees? LOL!! I thought about Spongebob Squarepants. Couldn't help but notice that Jones and The Flying Dutchman looked so different than they do in the Nicktoons. *giggle*

I totally agree that Elizabeth's chaining Jack up has been eating at me since I saw the movie. That whole scene (the kiss, Will's devasatation, Jack's martyrdom) just made the film so much darker in it's content than the first.

I wish there was more Jack-isms too! It kinda felt like they were resorting to childish taunts with some of his lines ie. you smell funny (amusing, but not something I'd expect Jack to say..more something Will would say)

They did but I work at a movie theater... thus i have to clean the movie theaters... did you see the ending part on the movie...

I think you liked it more than I did. I loved it, until the end. Barbosa shouldn't have been alive. And why did she keep him in her bedroom?

Why wasn't the monkey dead?

And what the hell kind of ending was that?
