This is the suck! Total suck! Total!

I heard from the doctor today. More tests! Total suck! They suspect I have some sort of blood disorder that's mucking up my spleen. It has also caused a slight abnormality in my liver. Also, I actually have diabetes. No more borderline for this girl. No more half-assed. Full-blown diabetic. The suck! Total suck! And my mother keeps trying to cheer me up. So not in the mood for that. I can't have sugar, which I LOVE, and they're still not rightly sure why my spleen's all wonky and now I have a slightly-gimp liver? And I get to have more blood tests? Also, the meds I am on? I can't drink alcohol. FUCK! Dude. Seriously. I am pissed.

This is the suck. The total fucking suck.

And then some stupid fuck is bitching because it's been a year since I updated Snake Charming? Duh! I know. It's my fic, dumbass, but thank you oh so much for pointing that out in suck a "nice" way. Ass clown. Dude, PISS OFF. Seriously. I so can not deal with this cuntish bullshit on top of everything else right now. 2006 totally sucked ass for me, and 2007 has hit the gate a'running in the suck department. I love fanfic, but sometimes fanfic readers just piss me off. Like screeching at me in all caps in gonna motivate me. I mean honestly, does that really motivate anyone who's not in the armed forces at boot camp? And they actually created a whole account today just to leave that review. I mean, I'm sorta flattered, but that was time a'wasted that *I* certainly would not have wasted, but hey, everybody's got to have a hobby, right? I'm glad trolling me provides some pleasure for some. Or something. Whatever. Fuck it. What a stupid tool. Take up knitting or decoupage or stamp collecting. Or read something else. There's plenty of fic out there. A lot of it's even really great. There's no way you've read it all. Go discover that next big thing, butt pipe. Leave me to wallow in my bitchy sugar-free suckage.

So not a fan of my own life right now.

I'm so sorry :( I hope you start feeling better, and if you want to hear this or not I don't know, but there are a TON of really yummy sugar-free things out there that I've discovered. I totally switched from regular soda to diet soda almost a year ago, and at first it was weird and it took me awhile to get used to it, but now it tastes totally normal to me. Also as far as chocolate and things like that go, at walmart I know they have alot of sugar free options, and I've had a few that were good. Hang in there, you'll get through it :)

Leave her alone. She can't have sugar or alcohol. THAT SUCKS!!!

Holy crap. Now you really can't be a Living Dead Girl anymore.

Leslie, if you want to kick something I have a picture of $teve Crane for ya.

It sounds like you're having a really rough time and I sympathise with your diabetes problem (and the rest). However, assuming that (like me) you have type 2 adult onset, then don't feel that it's the end of the world. If you're careful with what you eat (low GI etc) and find a set of meds that work then it is not too big a hassle. You DO need to take it seriously though: the long term effects 10-20 years down the track are not pleasant if you don't control it reasonably well. That's the hassle for most people (me included) - the effects are cumulative and slow and you find yourself not bothering because there is seemingly no immediate penalty.

*hugs* I'm so sorry dear. I hope the tests aren't too invasive.

Good luck with the new tests. There are several people around me with Diabetes, and while it is tehsuck, it can be manageable. Also, Splenda can be your friend.

Getting such a diagnosis is no small thing; it's like having a pile of bricks fall down on your head. I have no doubt that your doctor will give you tons of info on diabetes, but with all the other stuff going on, it might seem overwhelming. If I can help in some way, let me know.

And you're right: it does fucking suck.

*more hugs*

*hugs you* Hope everything starts going your way soon. I know how much being on so many meds and being not old can suck. (20 yr old with arthritis speaking)

Yuck. I'm really sorry to hear that you have to have more tests and that you are now full blown diabetic. I have a few family members that are diabetic and I've seen how they struggle with it, but are managing it. As my aunt has told me, you take it one day at a time, follow the doctors directions, excerise, and test, test, test you blood sugar. She and her daughter, who has type one, have been managing it for years now, so they are doing okay. They both have insulin pumps, which if you are going to be on insulin, is the way to go. No injecting yourself multiple time daily, just a small port spot and you clip to yourself the injection pump which looks like a mp3 player. I hope that you'll be feeling better soon and that your doctors find the answers to your health problems. *hugs*

My Dad is diabetic(full on as well) and occasionally can cheat and have something with sugar in it. I hope that helps some.
And those morons who are bitching about you not posting a new chapter need to learn how to do that thing called patience. You've had an insane year!
I hope things get brighter for you soon, atleast you get a break from all of this.

Oy! Yeah, that really sucks. Diabetic is high on the suck list, but everything else on top of that? Not fun, not good. I hope they can fix the blood disorder/mucked spleen! I'll be sending good thoughts your way. :)

Went to the doctor and got told, again, I need to watch the sugar. I'm borderline, and it's finally starting to hit home. If you need any recipes, I can send some. I can even send you xylitol powder, which is like sugar, but the safest thing for diabetics because it's not like Splenda or Sweet-N-Low.

If you need something, you know where to find me.

I'm so sorry! My grandpa is diabetic and has to take insulin shots a couple of times a day. It’s annoying, but you can live a long life with few problems if you’re careful. (Graps is 72) We’ve got a few family recipes I can send if you’re interested. If your liver is wonky, have them run a Hepatitis C test. It took the Docs MONTHS to figure out someone I know had Hepatitis C. Diet Dr. Pepper isn’t so bad…

Whoa. You are right. All of that sucks and it sounds like that review was just the icing on the cake. Or perhaps the straw that broke the camel's back? I would love to send you lots of baby hugs right now but, unfortunately, mine have decided that they are "too big" for that now. So I guess you'll have to settle for mine! *HUGS*

Meh that guy that left that review should be thankfull to get any chapters from all from you whenever ! Your chapters are like friggin letters from God herself - they are one of the few things that I would stop whatever I'm reading and read straight away.

Nagger fanreaders were the whole reason Lafeemechante of Jenny fame will apparently *never* write a fanfiction again. That's right last time I checked (which is quite a while ago since I removed her from my friends list) her fans made her so p****d off that she'll never write a fanfiction again.

There is a ton of other Buffy/Harry Potter crossovers this person could discover (Just read The Muggle Way which absolutely terrific). Please don't make this lard butt make you quit the FF world .

Please ?
Please ?

Dude you're chapters are so good I don't mind waiting until after the 6h HP movie comes out for them ! Maybe even the birth of my first born grandchild ;) !

I know this is 5 million years late, but it is possible to control your diabetes to the point when you can regress to borderline again. You won't be able to pig out on sugar, but you might be able to eat a bit more sugar. Also, my mom (a nurse) suggested that if you eat your sugar, you try and eat it with a meal. The fats and starchs soak it up, so you don't get hit quite as badly by the sugar, raising the level in your blood.

Good Luck, sweetie.
