I just finished watching "The Life of David Gale". I had never seen it before, and being an avid Kate fan, that was just unacceptable. That movie was good. Very very good, but it made me very sad. I think I cried the whole last hour of it. Kate's brilliant. I love her. She's beautiful and talented. She really made me struggle with Bitsey Bloom (her character), and there are few times that I don't just love Kevin Spacey.

And now I'm going to go write a bit before turning in for the night... because I had a very good idea for the beginning of a story. I have to get the words out before I forget them. Original. Not sci-fi or horror related. Something about people. About life. Characters. Words. It'll likely bore everyone else to tears, but I'll love it. I have a strong desire to write about life tonight and the complexity and beauty of it. Very little fanfic tonight.

Blame it on David Gale.

I saw that movie in the theaters. I think I cried four times throughout the movie. It was so funny at the end because me and my friend Christie just start bawling and we're walking out of the theater (where we worked) and everyone who works there rushes over and asks us what's wrong. It was horrible.

I have an idea I need to send your way. I'll get to it probably at the end of today.

sorry, I know this isn't the "correct venue", but I just wanted to congratulate you on the publishing thing. You know that I love Shadowside and I can't wait to see it "in print."

Your reposting of the first bit of 4th Corner has given me quite the happy.

Thanks so much.
