When choosing between two evils...

Ever had a dream that bothered you well into the day for thinking about and remembering it? It's distracting me big time, and I'm trying to touch up the first leg of the Dawn/Connor fic requested at the_fund, so I can get it posted before I head off to work tonight. I'm not gonna bore anyone with the details of the dream, but let's just say I've been watching too much Firefly lately and definitely had Jayne on the brain.

Also... the chickens are back. I'm wibbling about calling animal control, because they seemed to have found some shrubbery of ours that they like sitting under. They aren't hurting anything, and they aren't running around out in the street.
